The City of Jacksboro has water, sewer and trash services. The City does not offer electric services.
In order to establish a water/sewer and trash account with the City, we require the following:
- Complete an application for services. You can pick up an application at City Hall, or here.
- Submit your application with a valid photo I.D. and a copy of proof of ownership or a lease agreement for a rental property.
You will bring your documents into City Hall located at 112 W Belknap during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. A residential account requires a $100 deposit. A commercial account requires a $200 deposit, but this may vary depending on the size of the business.
If you are leasing or renting a residential property, you will need to apply for a certificate of occupancy, and our Building Inspector will make sure that your property is up to code. The certificate of occupancy fee is $25.
If you are turning on services for a commercial property, you will also need a certificate of occupancy. The fee for a commercial C.O. is $100.
